Thanks to all
of our customers who helped to make our February Sofa Sale a
huge success, we were able to present a check to the
Animal Refuge League
recently. The Animal Refuge League provides
temporary
care
and shelter for stray, abandoned and relinquished animals.
The Animal
Refuge League does not have a time limit on how long an animal
may stay with them. In many cases, healthy and
well-adjusted animals stay until a home is found for them.
More than 80 percent of animals that come to them find their way
to a home. In addition, they save hundreds of injured and
ill animals each year by arranging for care with local
veterinarians.
Needless to
say, this costs money and
the vast majority of
their funding is made through the generosity of the general
public. With the influx of animals to the shelter
recently, we were pleased to be able to make this wonderful
donation.

Crockett Interiors was proud to

Gary's House
with a donation of bedroom furniture.
Gary's House
is a 'home away from home" for out of town families
visiting a loved one undergoing medical treatment in the
Portland area. Since opening their doors in 1998, many
families have found comfort and solace there.
Sponsored by Mercy Hospital, Gary's
House is located close to area hospitals and offers
accommodations that are more like your home than a hotel.
They are an important resource for families of patients of all
ages. Gary's House allows families to find comfort knowing
they have a place to stay, near their loved one, without being
financially burdened.
